Top 10 Tuesday: In honor of Fall TV, do a TV-themed topic

September 6: In honor of Fall TV, do a TV-themed topic! Top ten favorite TV shows of all time, ten new shows coming out this Fall that are on my radar, TV shows I wish never got cancelled, TV shows I would recommend to book characters, books I wish would be TV shows, ten favorite shows from the late 90s or early 2000s, ten TV shows for every fantasy lover, etc.

When I first saw this topic, a lot of things came to my mind but since I am going to do a non-book post, because why not?! This is a good way for you to get know me. Here goes! 

I am going to do Top 10 11 12 Favorite TV shows of all time! I like to name the characters, to be warned. 

1. NCIS

Gibbs. Abby. McGee. Ducky. Vance. Palmer. My crew.

I did not fall into NCIS when it first released years ago, but it was not till Ziva (Cote de Pablo) first came into the show. I, slowly but surely, got into NCIS. It was not till I would assume, 6th season, I finally got into deeper. Now the show is getting ready for its 14th season, and this time around, without Tony (Michael Weatherly). He left the show to pursue more opportunities. He will be in a new show, Bull. It will be after NCIS. We will get three new people, one of them, Mr. Fez (Wilmer Valderrama) from That 70s Show! So excited to see how things will go. 

2. NCIS: Los Angeles 

Hanna. Callen. Kensi. Deeks. Beale. Hetty. Nell. Granger.

This is the show I got into right away. I was introduced to them from NCIS’s 6th season, which is ironic. I love the chemistry between the characters. It made me felt like they know each other for years. This upcoming season will be their 8th. Can’t wait. Hurry up, October 2nd and CBS – why do you move them to Sundays?! FOOTBALL! COME ON, MAN! So far, no new characters, I don’t think. 

3. Friends

Rachel. Ross. Monica. Chandler. Joey. Phoebe. I miss them a lot.

I was hoping they would do a mini reunion show like Gilmore Girls is doing, but I can image what they are doing 12 years later. Did Joey get married? I still can image Joey saying “How You Doin’?” Did Phoebe have children? Rachel and Ross have more children? Did Monica and Chandler adopt more children? Did everyone moved closer to Monica and Chandler? It is fun to come up with your own theories. 

4. The Big Bang Theory

Leonard. Sheldon. Howard. Penny. Raj. Bernadette. Amy. 

I love how awkward the characters is to be and how fun to see them grow over time. They all are hilarious, in their own way.

5. Modern Family

Jay. Gloria. Claire. Phil. Mitchell. Cameron. Haley. Alex. Luke. Manny. Lily. Joe.

I did not get into this TV show till I binged it on Hulu and loved it! I want more. I feel for Phil when it comes to his and Jay’s relationship. He tries so hard. I have to give him props. Can’t wait for new season to start later this month! 

6. Bones

Bones. Booth. Angela. Hodge. Cam. 

I am sad they are leaving after this upcoming season. I love how they grew over time, especially Bones. She was like a robot, for lack of a better word. 

7. Hawaii 5-0

Danny. Steve. Chin. Kono. Max. Lou. Jerry. Kamekona. 

At first, honestly, I did not like the show but as time goes on, it grew on me. Now, I am loving it. Steve and Danny act like they are married. They bicker like crazy. Others have to stop them before it gets bad. They are ‘Ohana.

8. Boy Meets World // Girl Meets World

Cory. Topanga. Shawn. Eric. Amy. Alan. Feeny. // Riley. August. Maya. Lucas. Farkle. Zac. Josh.

I can’t explain more but this…they were my childhood and now they are my adulthood. 

9. Gilmore Girls

Rory. Lorelai. Luke. Emily. Richard. Stookie. Lane. Michel. Paris. Kirk. 

Same reason as Boy Meets World. My Childhood. Cannot wait for the Netflix series! Hurry Up November! 

10. Full House

Danny. Joey. Jess. DJ. Stephanie. Michelle. Becky. Kimmy. Steve.

Same reason as other two. Season 2 of Fuller House is coming out soon. I hope it will be a bit better. It was awkward to watch season 1. 

11. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Will. Carlton. Ashley. Phil. Vivian. Hilary. Geoffrey. Nicky. 

Same thing as Full House, Gilmore Girls, Boy Meets World. My childhood. I can say this, though. My favorite character of this TV show is Geoffrey. Oh, his lines. 

12. The Golden Girls

Dorothy. Sophia. Blanche. Rose. 

Man, this TV show. These women. I would watch these shows over and over again and never get tired. I watched these with my roommates back in college and we loved them. Yeah, love them.
