September 2016 TBR

Wow! It only felt like yesterday that I was typing up my August TBR! Time flew by! So many books to read, so hard to pick few. Like I mentioned on my August Wrap Up, I am a mood reader. So for this month, I am starting off small and hopefully will finish big. I will list only fourish books that I wanted to read but I might change my mind depending on my mood. In addition to the list, I will be finishing up Nevernight by Jay Kristoff as well as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

Here’s goes…

1. My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows

I know, I know… I wanted to read this for August but I did not get around to it, thus the smaller list for September. I am going to add a quote that I wrote for my August TBR for this book…

“This is a retelling of Lady Jane, that became Queen for England after Edward has passed. Only after nine days in charge, she was beheaded. In this story, the history has changed. Lady Jane, Edward, and a dude that only changed into a dude from a horse at nights. This book, I heard, is hysterical.”

2. The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Maston

I love Since You’ve Been Gone. I want to read more of Morgan’s books so here’s goes! I wanted to, at least, read one more contemporary book before Autumn hits. To me, good feels contemporary books felt right during the Summer. I cannot wait to start reading this.

3. This Savage Song by Victoria Schawb

Like with My Lady Jane, I had this on my August TBR but did not get around to it, I am hopeful I will get to reading the book this month. Here’s the quote from the last TBR.

“One person wanted to be human. One person wanted to be a monster. They became friends. There is no romance at all in this book. I wonder how it would work out. I heard pretty much good things about this book. Cannot wait to jump into this book. “

4. Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

By the time 27th rolls around, I will have this in my hands and I will be starting to read this, but I don’t think I will be able to finish this before October comes around. That was a long sentence. For that, I apologize. I am so reading this, there is no changing my mind.

I will be adding this list to my October TBR for sure. I love, love, LOVE Six of Crows and cannot wait to see what is the next big thing for our sweet six? Speaking of Six of Crows, you will see my review for it later this month.
