I saw this topic over at Of Wonderland. I thought it’d be a great post to make since I’m feeling very uncreative with my blog lately. This is based on my most anticipated reads for the year 2019 and I haven’t read them. I thought to do per quarter. Here we go…
Famous in a Small Town | The Gilded Wolves | The Kingdom of Copper
These books came out earlier this year and yeah… shame on me, ha. I’m hopeful that I will at least read The Kingdom of Copper after I’m finished with The Poppy War this month. Wish me luck. As for the other two, I’m hoping to read them before 2020.
Daisy Jones & the Six | Descendant of the Crane | We Hunt the Flame
I am a bit worried about Daisy Jones & the Six because so many people have been recommending listening to the audiobook but I cannot. I wish I can but I’m deaf so I’m worried that I won’t be able to enjoy the book because it’s a mixed media novel.
I am excited to read the other two because they’re my TBR for the next few months.
Sorcery of Thorns | The Dragon Republic | Love from A to Z
I know I just said that I’m currently reading The Poppy War right now but at the same time, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT’S HAPPENING NEXT AND I DON’T WANT TO AT THE SAME TIME. I’m a bit nervous about this because people have been saying their heart isn’t the same after reading The Dragon Republic.
As for Sorcery of Thorns, I’m very curious to see where I fall because this has been getting so many raves.
I have put Love from A to Z on hold from my local library and will be able to get it at some point in September. I cannot wait.
I really want to read We Hunt the Flame soon. It’s so funny how excited I get for these releases and then I never can get to them. I hope you enjoy The Poppy War and its sequel!

I agree. A good example would be when I couldn’t keep The Priory of the Orange Tree off my mind and truly want to read it and finally brought the book. It is still on my bookself, unread. I’m enjoying The Poppy War. I am nearing the end and I’m getting nervous!
