June 25: Series I’ve Given Up On/Don’t Plan to Finish (Submitted by A Book and a Cup). (Feel free to switch this to Series I’d Like to Finish Someday)
Since I don’t really read books these days, ha, I wanted to mention books that I wanted to finish one day. There are also books that I wanted to start and finish. If there is a series that you think I need to start and finish, please do let me know. Thanks!
Six of Crows & Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo //
I finished Six of Crows and loved it! I need to read Crooked Kingdom and the original trilogy before King of Scars comes out in January. I know I’m doing this backward.
Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling //
I read only the first book in this series! I know, I know. I need to work on finishing up the series.
Saga by Fiona Staples and Brian K. Vaughan //
I read up to Volume Six, so that means I need to read Seven – Nine.
Passenger and Wayfarer by Alexandra Bracken //
I put Passenger on paused because there were other books that I wanted to read so my goal is to finish this trilogy.
The Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff //
I finished Illuminae and am in the middle of Gemina so I have a feeling that I can easily finish this series sooner than later.
The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer //
Yeah, I did not read any book in this series. I am honestly not sure when I will though but maybe soon.
An Ember… Series by Sabaa Tahir //
Oh, this is the series that I am going to read next. I have all the books but yeah, I do not know why I don’t even start on An Ember in the Ashes. I will though, don’t worry!
Wolf by Wolf and Blood for Blood by Ryan Graudin //
This is an interesting duo. This is an alternate history fiction, in a case where “What if Hilter won the WW2?” I need to jump on this duology sooner than later.
The Bone Witch trilogy by Rin Chupeco //
The same case with Passenger up above, I just put it on hold to read other books but I will for sure finishing this trilogy. I need to get over the hump in The Bone Witch because I’ve heard the ending is so wowza.
Brooklyn Brujas series by Zoraida Córdova
I have the original edition of Labyrinth Lost but I kept meaning to read it and I didn’t. I need to change that so I can read Bruja Born.
The Wolf by Wolf duology is one of my all time favourites. Be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster. I loved how different The Bone Witch was but have not finished the trilogy yet. I do have a copy of the second book waiting for me.

I can’t wait to jump into the duology. I have them on my bookshelves but I just couldn’t get into them because of the emotional factor alone. I love The Bone Witch, I’m working hard though, to get pass the bump in the middle of the book.

Yeah, I had that issue with The Bone Witch as well. The pacing was a bit off at times but the ending is well worth the struggle.

I have heard that as well. I need to get to it because I was loving the story. I hope the 2nd book didn’t have that issue.

Me too! I’ve heard good things about the pacing in the second book so fingers crossed that it’s not a continuing issue.

I’ve only read the first two books from The Lunar Chronicles, but it’s hard getting back into it after so long

I am planning on maybe doing a book per month so I won’t burn myself out on the series. Why not reread it?

That sounds like a good idea, I might do that next month now that the other books are out

I’m planning on getting Stars Above and the two volumes of the graphic novel (is it called graphic novel?) sooner than later. In between, I’m planning to read her other books that aren’t part of the series.
