March 20: Books On My Spring TBR
As you guys know that I’m still struggling to read but I want to make a list that I hope to, at least, read at some point this Spring. These books that I’m listing, has amazing reviews so I am excited about them!
I am finding that I am such a mood reader and cannot stick to a list but these books I know I will read, just don’t know when. I hope, at least, will read two or three out of these ten. I am going to focus on books that already have been released.
The Valiant // Lesley Livington
I’m excited about this one. It’s a YA Historical Fiction of a female gladiator! I think I need to read this and enjoy it!
An American Marriage // Tayari Jones
Once I first heard of this book, I wanted to read it so hopefully, the library has a copy ready!
Children of Blood and Bone // Tomi Adeyemi
I am currently reading this book and I am loving it. I think this will be one of the books that I will finish this year! I am currently buddy-reading this with my dear friend on Twitter.
Love, Hate, & Filters // Samira Ahmed
I have heard nothing but wonderful things about this book. Cannot wait to check it out from the library.
The Wedding Date // Jasmine Guillory
I will read this when I need a good pick up. I have heard this novel is sweet and a great rom-com.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo // Taylor Jenkins Reid
This is one of the books that I am planning on reading but I just don’t know when due to other books that I am already planning on reading first. I won’t be surprised to read this before summer, though.
Little Fire Everywhere // Celeste Ng
This book is basically being read by everyone in my hometown. Either it’s placed on hold or already checked out AND the libraries around here have many, many copies. It will be a long wait for me to finally read it. I hope by summer, I am able to read it!
I Believe In A Thing Called Love // Maurene Goo
This book has been on my TBR quite a few times and I truly want to read it. So, I am going to try my best to do so.
Homegoing // Yaa Gyasi
I have placed this novel on hold at my local library. I am waiting to hear that I can come and pick it up. I have been meaning to read this since 2016 so I finally am!
The City of Brass // S.A. Chakraborty
This book was one of my high anticipated novels of 2017 AND I have not read it yet! I need to change that and read it after Homegoing and Children of Blood and Bone.
An American Marriage is also on my list. I hope we both enjoy it!
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is fantastic. I also really enjoyed The Wedding Date!

I first heard of the book via Joce over at squibblesreads on YouTube. She kept raving about it and it was on her top books of 2017. I also found out about it via Reese Witherspoon’s Instagram. She host a book club monthly and she loved it. Loved it to the point where she’s planning on doing a limited series of the book.
