February 20: Books I’ve Decided I’m No Longer Interested In Reading
Hello! There are books that I just have lost interest in due to lack of professional reasons and the changes of my personal tastes.
Warning: I know some of these books you’re a big fan of – please do not take offense that I have listed them here.
I agree with all of these so much!!!!
🙂 especially Sarah J Maas, I had no idea there were other human beings not interested in her because SO MANY PEOPLE ADORE HER BOOKS. but I can’t get past the cheesy prose. c:

I’m sure they’re great for the readers but with what I have heard so far with the writing, with the plots, and the reps… it’s a turn off for me.

The Maze runner is good if you leave it there… on the first one… and they escaped… THE END…
Why did you lose interest in Red Queen and GOT? 🙂 The 5th wave I have heard is good but the third book… XD

I was never interested in The Maze Runner but I was going to give it a chance and then the news relating to the author def turned me off to his books. There’s others books that I’m interested in more than Red Queen and GOT as well as The 5th Wave.

He has been accused of sexual harassments. He has been since dropped by his agent and publisher.

Jay Asher, Trisha Wright, and others. It isn’t just the authors, there are others in the community.

13 Reasons Why was on my TTT this week too! I was already not into it because I’ve heard it glorifies suicide, and after what they say about the author…

I know. I planned to put this on my list when I found out the topic because of how it glorifies suicide. When I found out about the accusations, yeah, never will read a single word from him.

I enjoyed Miss Perigrine, but did not enjoy the second book. I actually DNF’d the 2nd book cause it was too slow for me. For the ACOTAR series. I put the 2nd book on the back burner cause I wasn’t into it..maybe it’s the mood I’m in.
I already watched the show for 13 reasons why, so I feel like reading the book would be repetitive. LOL.
I’ve read mixed reviews with the Red Queen, so I took it off my TBR list since I didn’t think I’d enjoy it. As for the others on your list..I agree. Not up my alley at this time either 🙂

Yeah, Red Queen – it sounds amazing but I have heard that it’s one of these generic novels. It’s sad though because I love reading her tweets.
I think I have heard, I may be wrong, that the TV show of 13 Reasons Why is much better (not by much, though) than the book.
Miss Perigrine – have you see the movie? If so, which version do you like the best?

I have seen the movie and had high expectations since I love Tim Burton. Big let down for me 😔 The book was better.
I really enjoyed 13 reasons why. I binge watched it. Funny thing is, I had no intention of watching it, but wanted to see what everyone was raving about. Turned out to be a really good show.

I liked Miss. Peregrine but couldn’t get far into the second book. Most of them I just never really wanted to read like The Maze Runner, Red Queen, etc.
