5 Stars TBR Predictions

I saw this topic by Heather @ The Sassy Geek and thought it’d be a good way for me to see in the next few months that my predictions would come true! She was inspired by Regan’s YouTube channel: Peruse Project. The covers will have a link to its Goodreads page for you to look into more.

The Fifth Season The City of Brass Warcross1

The Fifth Season // N.K. Jemisin
I first heard about this from Joce @ squibblesreads. This was her November’s pick for her book club — Storytime with Squibbles. It wasn’t till I found Adriana @ perpetualpages’ review of the novel. After seeing the video by them, it made me want to read the novel so badly. It sounds like an intense read and I am looking forward to it.

The City of Brass // S.A. Chakraborty
This book got so many hypes and I don’t really hear anything negative about this book. People are saying that they escaped the world and fell in love with the world that S.A. built. I got the book from PageHabit and I am looking forward to seeing the annotations on the novel and see the thought process as she wrote the book.

Warcross // Marie Lu
I have heard that Warcross was one of Marie’s best works. It has everything from video games to colorful surroundings. I saw the trailer for the book and I love it. I liked Legend (I need to reread the novel) so I am looking forward to it!

the-hate-u-give When the Moon Was Ours CrookedKingdom

The Hate U Give // Angie Thomas
This is one of the books that has been on my TBR for so long and I have read few pages. These pages that I have read, I loved. I cannot wait to finish and see if my prediction came true. I am already looking forward to her second novel, On the Come Up

When the Moon Was Ours // Anna-Marie McLemore
People are saying that her other books — When the Moon Was Ours and The Weight of Feathers are so good and I need to read them. After reading Wild Beauty and love it! I have to agree with them. So looking forward to it.

Crooked Kingdom // Leigh Bardugo
Just like with The Hate U Give, this is one of the books that has been on my TBRs for so long — longer than THUG! I love and adore Six of Crows and am not looking forward to saying goodbye to the cast.

I can see any of these books being my 5 stars. I try not to give them away freely anymore but these… if I fell in love, for sure, 5! Cooked Kingdom, I need to read it but at the same time, I’m scared to say goodbye. I know I can always reread but it isn’t the same as the first time. I have Warcorss and I’m excited. I got it for my birthday last month so yeah! 🙂 I’ll let you know that you need to buy it or it can wait when I eventually read the book, haha.
