Beat the Backlist 2018

Hello! I didn’t do great with my Beat the Backlist TBR for 2017. I created an update post and I didn’t update that often. The last time I actually did were back in February. *facepalm*

I’m planning on maybe, doing two reading challenges, not sure yet. For sure though, this reading challenge is going to be one of them. I really wanted 2018 to be less stressful for me. I think one of the reasons for why I didn’t do well in 2017 — I wanted to read so many books at the same time. I need not do that and just enjoy reading. 

I can see myself reading so many new releases in 2018, however, there are so many good books that were released in the past few years. I want to find a balance between reading backlist books with new releases. I am not doing a TBR (see: the links above) because that would stress me out. So, this is what I am going to do — once I’m finished with a backlist book, I will update this page.

Information

This reading challenge is being hosted by Novelknight. There are two simple rules with this reading challenge: read novels that were released in 2017 or earlier and it runs from January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2018. This is a very relaxed reading challenge. You set the pace. You set your own TBR. You do not need a blog to sign up. You are welcome to use any Social Media such as Twitter, a Goodreads list, Instagram, etc. 

Once you signed up, you will be assigned a team randomly. This is to give us a way to be competitive. There will be four teams — Knights, Dragons, Sorcerers, and Bards. There is so many more information so click on the link up above and check it out!
