October Wrap Up & November TBR

WrapUp&TBR_1

Hello! I am currently living in Western New York, near Rochester and the weather lately. I am not sure about other areas but we have been experiencing unusual weather, even today! It has been warm. There have been more warm days than there have been cold days.

October Wrap Up

October has been one of my better reading months. I even read! I didn’t get to all the books that I wanted, as usual, but yeah, I read a couple! I wanted to read Stay with Me, Crooked Kingdom, The Language of Thorns, They Both Die at the End, and Binti: Home but I couldn’t get to them. I am still struggling with my reading habits; it’s the same old song.

Here are the books that I actually read and finished:

Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore wasn’t on my list but I couldn’t resist so I dropped other books and took my time reading this. It is so beautiful and I adore it! It is easily one of my favorite books of the year!

The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding by Alexandra Bracken. I read this on Halloween and I thought it would make a good book for that specific day and it was! It was so funny and I adore the characters. I cannot wait for the second book. I think I like this book better than Passenger.

November TBR

I thought to make it simple and easy for me for the rest of the year, I would make up two books for my TBR and add on when and if I actually finished these two books.

Sure, make it harder for yourself, Nicole. These books are huge but I have heard nothing but AMAZING about these books. I preordered The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty for my kindle and I’m impatient for it to show up! Joce at squibblesreads has created a book club. It is called Storytime with Squibbles. For the November book: It is The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin.
