June Wrap Up & July TBR

WrapUp&TBR_1

You know, I am really proud of myself. I finally finished a book and I love it! You’ll see the review coming in July. I hope for July, I get to read and finish two books. Slowly but surely, I am getting out of my reading slump that has been a black cloud over my head.

June Wrap Up

Like, I mentioned above, I read only one book this month and it’s When Dimple Met Rishi. I love this book so much! It is so sweet and so funny. I can’t wait to read more of Sandhya’s books. I know she has a new novel, From Twinkle, With Love, coming sometimes next year. So excited for that one.

I didn’t read Queens of Geek and The Upside of Unrequited. Even though I finished a book, I still cannot move onto another book. People have been recommending me to read an old favorite, but even then, I couldn’t pick them up.

July TBR

I wanted to try to read books that I haven’t tried to read. So, I am thinking to put Queens of Geek and The Upside of Unrequited on hold for now till I feel more confident.

The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue // Mackenzi Lee
I have been hearing nothing but great things about this book. I am looking forward to this book. It’s one of my most anticipated books of the year and I hope it doesn’t fail me.

I just found out that there’s a companion novel, The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy, coming out in 2018 – hopefully in the fall. If I love this book, for sure, I will be checking the companion novel out. Obviously, the companion novel has PIRATES! It will focus on Monty’s sister, Felicity.

I Believe in a Thing Called Love // Maurene Goo
I am all for fluffy novels now and this is one of them. From what I can understand, the main character is feeling low and is turning to kdrama for inspiration on how to get love in her life. I am very curious on how it will work out.

I’m glad the book has helped you to pull out of the reading slump. It’s working for me as well! It’s so cute and fluffy. That’s why I am keeping it nice and easy to read with I Believe in a Thing Called Love! 🙂 Keep an eye out on the July Wrap Up if it works for me! 🙂 Thank you.
