June 20: Top Ten Series I’ve Been Meaning To Start But Haven’t

Hello! When I saw the topic for this week’s Top Ten, and I knew what I am going to put down. There are so many more series that I haven’t started but the list below is the ones that I truly want to start, especially with the first on the list.

Hello! We had a lot of similarities on our lists! This Savage Song, Furthermore, A Darker Shade of Magic and the Trials of Apollo. I really liked the Lunar Chronicles – yet I admit, I haven’t read the final book, Winter, yet. I really need to. I love the series, but the book is pretty expensive…soooo. That hasn’t happened yet. Ohhh that’s awesome! Which books that you have listed so far in your comment, is your number #1 book to read next? For me, it has to be A Darker Shade of Magic. Winter is a big book so I’m not surprised that it’s expensive. Maybe the Paperback edition or an ebook edition would be cheaper? Have a wonderful week as well! 🙂

If I’m remembering right, the ebook is about $10, which is about $6 too much for me for an ebook. I’m just have to steal it from my library, since it’s still on wait list! A Darker Shade is at the top of my list – as soon as I get a copy, I only have book #2 – but first I’m going to read Nevernight. It’s supposed to arrive any day now 🙂

I got the Amazon hardcover. I hope it’s the one with the gorgeous raven on the actual book. That one was STUNNING 👌🏻😍

Ahh, that’s the UK edition. The US edition is the girl on the cover. I hope you get the UK edition!

I haven’t read Trials of Apollo and Magnus Chase either cause I still haven’t finished Blood of Olympus, haha.
Three Dark Crowns has the potential to be a good series, as long as the three queens keep their head in the game and not let romance distract them lol.

I haven’t even read Percy Jackson and I don’t know if I want to. I kinda want to jump into Apollo series and Magnus series because I have heard it is like, 100% better.

So many great books here! Shades of Magic books are wonderful, Trials of Apollo and Magnus Chase are great, I’ve only read the first Monsters of Verity but it was pretty good. I didn’t love the first Lunar Chronicles book, but I’ve been told the series gets better.
