Top 10 Tuesday: Books I Loved Less/More Than I Thought I Would

For anyone unfamiliar with Top 10 Tuesday, it’s a weekly meme that was created by The Broke and The Bookish. To see more posts on this very topic, please go here.

February 21: Ten Books I Loved Less/More Than I Thought I Would (recently or all time)
Or you could do something like books I liked more/less than everyone else.

For a person that did not read a whole lot of books past few years, I unexpectedly fill this out to ten books! I am very impressed with myself. Here’s goes!

Loved More Than I Expected

These books that were hyped hugely and I did not expect to fall in love with them at all. Normally, when I read a hype book, I tend to not understanding why they were hyped in the first place but with these books, below, I was and am all in.

Loved Less Than I Expected

These books I was looking forward to and I have more great things about them than the bad ones, and I was disappointed that I did not fall in love with them.

*As for Zenith, it’s Sasha and Lindsay’s book that they self-published over the summer of 2016 before getting the contract with Harlequin Teen. I am looking forward to the actual novel.

All the books in your loved more list that I have read are ones I also really loved – Saga, Illuminae, Six of Crows and Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda. They were all brilliant. Saga blew me away and quickly became a new obsession for me. Of the ones you were disappointed with, I’ve only read Divergent and it definitely isn’t the best dystopian out there.

Feel free to check out my list here.

I loved Saga. I was worried that I would not love them as much I did because of the graphics that were involved but I ended loving them. I cannot wait for Vol. 7!

Yeah same here. I was worried that the way it was set up using different files, emails, etc – it would not flow but it did! I still need to finish up Gemina. I am waiting very patiently for the 3rd book’s title. I wonder what it is and the color of the 3rd book as well.
