The Sims Book Tag

I was tagged to do this fun tag by my friend, Heather @ The Sassy Geek! Thank you!

This tag was originally created by a Booktuber, Hailey @ Hailey in Bookland.

The Original Sims // The Best Author Debut

More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera

morehappythannotpaperback

I love this book. It was a good start for Adam. I have been hearing that his second novel, The History is All You Left Me is wonderful and heartbreaking. I cannot wait to read the book, and his third book, They Die In The End (releasing in the fall) as well.

The Grim Reaper // Saddest Character Death

Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling

Yeah. Enough said.

Sims Getting Stuck // A Character that Just Got In The Way

I cannot think of a character that got in the way. I will update this one whenever I do.

Simlish // A Book with Amazing Writing

Home Front & FireFly Lane by Kristin Hannah

I love these books. They are beautifully written. I truly need to read The Nightingale before it releases in theaters.

Expansion Packs // A Series Where the Books Keep On Getting Better

Six of Crows & Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

I love these books. I want more. I am hoping for more, maybe few prequels of the characters’ lives before meeting Kaz? That’d be great!

Sim Romance // The Worst Case of Insta-love

Twlight by Stephenie Meyer

twilight

OMG! It is the part where Bella just fell in love with Edward right after she found out that he’s a vampire. Just no. I adore this series on a personal level but even I admit this series is so bad at Insta-love and I want to rewrite this and make it better.

Cheats // A Book that Was Entirely Unrealistic

A Court of Thorns and Roses & A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

I have not read these series but I have heard enough to say, yes. These books are very unrealistic. The people in this book is all beautiful. The guys get jealous and possessive. The girls even allowed it. I want a book that is just like what the synopsis said with a strong girl with an even strong man that can stand beside her. Not like this! It did not help that the fact this book has NO diversity. Talks about boring.

Needs Fulfillment // A Character Who Made All the Wrong Decisions

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling

hpthbp

There are so many people in this series that have made so many stupid mistakes, but I can not do Severus Snape. He made it by being jealous over Lily being sorted into Gryffindor. It did not help that the guys at Gryffindor kept on picking on Snape but that is an entirely different post. He then called her mudblood, which gives him a chance to be part of Death Eaters. Once he realized his mistake, he kept on going. He did not even try to redeem himself. Oh no, he has to pick on Harry just because he is still upset that Lily choose James and Harry looked a lot like James. Ugh.

Error Code 12 // A Series that Started Off Great But Went Downhill From There

Divergent, Insurgent, & Allegiant by Veronica Roth

I loved Divergent. Insurgent was not the most wonderful and beautiful book but when I read Allegiant. It got me confused. Yeah, no. Plus, the titles itself, especially Allegiant.. it made me think of the word: allergies.  I looked up the meaning of Allegiant. Why not name it: Faithful. That would sound so much better!

adjective
1. loyal; faithful.
noun
2. a faithful follower; adherent:
allegiants of religious cults.

The Sims Vortex // A Book/Series that Completely Engrossed You

Katherine: Heart of Freedom, Charlotte: Heart of Hope, Stephanie: Heart of Gold, & Carrie: Heart of Courage by Cameron Dokey

Back in High School, whenever I was at my local library, I borrowed this series so many times and it made me to actually hunt down the copies of these via Amazon since it went out of print. I am so glad that I got my own copies.
