December 7th: Books You Want to Finally Read in 2017
These are those books you meant to read in 2016 or 2015 or 2014 and never got around to. Those books that have been sitting on your TBR for a while, and you really want to get to. These aren’t upcoming 2017 releases; these are older books that need your love too!
There are tons and tons of books that I want to read and to narrow it down to five is not easy! So I went on my Beat The Backlist TBR, Goodreads, and my Kindle and see which one that I truly want to read. Here goes…
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir // Like I said so many times, I want to read this book and for the upcoming readathon that I am going to participate in January, and I am finally going to do it!
The Young Elites by Marie Lu // I am in love with The Young Elites series covers, they scream dark. I heard in this series, we are not having a story focus on a hero but on a villain! OHHH! So excited to finally read this!
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz // I have heard so many wonderful things about this book and 2017 is my year to read this, finally.
The Wrath & the Dawn by Renée Ahdieh // Another one that I brought and left it on the bookshelf and have it to sit there all pretty, and that stops. I need to read this, and the sequel and its novellas that I bought for my kindle.
Mosquitoland by David Arnold // I have heard that this book is a debut book for David Arnold, correct me if I am wrong. I have heard it was a successful one. I am excited to read and see how the story unfolds.
The Wrath and The Dawn is also on my list! An Ember in Ashes is also amazing!
