October 25: Halloween Related Freebie
Ten scary books, favorite horror novels, non-scary books to get you in the Halloween/fall mood, bookish Halloween costumes, scariest covers), scary books on my TBR, etc.
Hello. I am very late with this post. I normally have one of the posts scheduled the night before it is due to post. I was having a hard time coming up with a theme for today’s Top 10. It was not till I reread the suggestions up above. It said scariest covers. So I went on that route. These books might or might not be scary but the covers scream them.
These covers certainly are very creepy! I have read a few of these and have a few more on my TBR too! I think the Women in the Walls is my favorite but The Girl From the Well is the scariest for me! Great list! 🙂

I’m glad you enjoyed the books. I couldn’t bring myself to read them. I don’t know why. 🙂

These covers give me the creeps! I don’t particularly like horror stories. Even if the content of these books weren’t too scary, I still probably wouldn’t read them. Great list for Halloween!

Some of these covers look far too scary for me! I have read and enjoyed both We Have Always Lived in the Castle and Miss Peregrine though..

I’ve read four of these and the scariest one was The Women in the Walls… My favorite however is We Have Always Lived in a Castle.

I find the cover of It to be absolutely horrifying -and terrifying. I absolutely hate clowns, and I feel like that cover might actually give me nightmares. Great picks!

On Goodreads, they actually have different covers for It and I saw this one and thought it was perfect. It gives that creepy feeling.

I didn’t especially enjoy Miss Peregrine’s, but I totally agree that the cover is creepy! There were some even creepier photos inside the book!
