September 2016 Wrap Up

This month was awesome! I have read two books and reading a third. I am excited to tell you what I have read so far. I really am bad at sticking with my TBRs because the books that I have listed, I really want to read but it depends on my moods and life, really.

I did not read three books, The Savage Song, My Lady Jane, and The Unexpected Everything that I listed on my September TBR because I was not in the mood to read them for the month. All of the books that I have listed below, I will be doing a review.

1. Nevernight by Jay Kristoff

nevernight

I love this book. I am still slowly reading this book. I just want to be able to understand the world that Jay built and I do not want to miss any details. I won’t be surprised to see this book to be finished in October. I did a Reading Group with a group of awesome people over in Deutschland. It took me a while to read this but I am glad that I did. The world that was built in this book. I do not want to live there. I’m too chicken. You will see the Reading Group recap and the review later this month.

2. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling

HP&TSS

I love this book! It is a good start to the new world that I am discovering. I will be posting a review with more details after I am done with all eight books. That would be in April, I believe. The question is, should I do a weekly review on each book or one big review? I do not know at this point. What do you think?

3. Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky AlbertalliI

Simon vs.

I decided to participate in a #DiverseAThon that Monica from shemustbemonica, Whitney from WhittyNovels, Christina from Christina Marie, and Joce from squibblesreads put together. Here is the tweet announcing the #DiverseAThon. I hope the link still works. Let me know if it does not. It happened from September 12th to 19th. Knowing myself, I won’t be able to read more books as I would like to. So I have decided to read just one book for that week. This is a link listing all books that are diverse that are being recommended by various people if you want to check out more books to read! This was in my Top 5, the books that I want to read before the year’s over.
