Here’s my Wrap Up for August. I had a good month, at least in my opinion, and I have read one book, 3 graphic novels and still reading one book. I am a mood reader, so don’t be surprised to see some books in here that wasn’t in the August TBR and don’t be surprised to see the books that I wanted to read for August isn’t in here either. I did not get to every book that I wanted to read for August and that is okay. Like I said, I’m a mood reader.
Here are the books in the chronological order that I have read.
1. Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson
I loved this book. I have posted a link to the review. This is why I love Contemporaries. It is a good feel book. It actually shows growth in a young woman who depends solely on another young woman and had to learn how to make on her own, had to learn how to make decisions on her own and had to learn how to deal with different people.
2. Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
I am currently reading this book and so far…
OMG! I LOVE THIS BOOK!
It is so dark and it is so good. I want to wait to say anything more till I am finished with the review that I am currently working on. Too many words to write. Once I am finished, I will post a link to the review in here and on my blog. Keep an eye out for it!
3. Saga, Vol. 1-6 by Brian K. Vaughan Fiona Staples
I first heard about these graphic novels on YouTube (I forget who) but people won’t stop talking about these and how awesome these are. It’s different for sure, and it is a great way to escape from life for a while. So many words to express how much I love this series. When will Volume 7 comes out?! The review will be posted in October.
4. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling
I am currently reading this along with Nevernight and hopefully to be finished before September rolls around but I highly doubt it.
I got the Harry Potter Series from my aunt who wanted to get me these due to me graduating from college for my Master’s Degree. I can see why she loves this series and wanted me to fall in love with as well.
I am planning on reading one Harry Potter book per month so it will take me 8 months (all 7 plus the Curse Child) to finish the series and then after that, I will post a review on every book.
You had a great reading month as compared to mine. I read only two books in August because of my busy schedule. I hope you get to read more this month. 🙂
