Hello! I am doing my first ever TBR for my blog. Once I am finished with a book, I will update this post with a link for a review (if I remember to put them up, haha). I don’t see myself sticking to the list but here’s to hoping!
In no particular order, here are the books:
Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
I have heard awesome stuff about this book. This sixteen years old girl named Mia is off to Red Church to learn how to be an assassin! Do I need to say more?
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling
I have never read any Harry Potter books. I only saw the movies and know basic things that have happened but friends have pushed me to finally read the books since the movies did not touch anything more from the books. I am excited to finally start the series.
This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab
One person wanted to be human. One person wanted to be a monster. They became friends. There is no romance at all in this book. I wonder how it would work out. I heard pretty much good things about this book. Cannot wait to jump into this book.
My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows
This is a retelling of Lady Jane, that became Queen of England after Edward has passed. Only after nine days in charge, she was beheaded. In this story, the history has changed. Lady Jane, Edward, and a dude that only changed into a dude from a horse at nights. This book, I heard, is hysterical.
Passenger by Alexandra Bracken
This book is about time-traveling. I do not know what else to say. Look at that cover! So beautiful. I am almost done with this book. I am enjoying it.
Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson
Sloane has disappeared, and Emily has no idea where. Sloane has left her a list to do for the summer. I am also almost finished with this book. I am loving it so far.
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
I am unsure that I will be able to read this book. I have joined ReadByZoe’s book club, Austentatious in Goodreads. She is planning on reading one Jane Austen book for next six months. This book is the first one. Hoping to see if I manage to read this book.
Great that you’re picking up Harry Potter 😀 I hope you’ll love it as much as I do, just remember that the first few books are children’s literature. I know people who’s become disappointed when reading the first few books since they aren’t as epic as say, Lord of the Rings.

I won’t be. Thank you for letting me know. Funny story…I preordered Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and I posted a question on my Facebook page to see if I can read it anyway with the fact that I haven’t read any other HP books but only saw the movies or read HP books first? EVERYONE, from my former professor from my graduate school to my aunt who is an english teacher and I believe a high school Librarian has told me to read HP books first!
